I published my first paper!
Preventing falls is a complex issue - one that the Cullen lab wanted to investigate. In the lab's latest publication (rdcu.be/eRHhf), we explored risk factors for falls using 10 years of data.
Truly a humbling moment, thank you @thecullenlab.bsky.social for everything 💙

“nearly 80% of companies using AI found it had no significant impact on their earnings”

" Among these speakers was Bhattacharya (NIH director), who said that the NIH (...) has focused too heavily on small scientific steps instead of “disruptive” or “innovative” research. " Yeah I would indeed qualify the last year of science in the US as being disruptive...
About that exclusive, "closed-to-press" MAHA summit last week with RFK and JD Vance: I got in.

Here's what I saw. 🧵 🧪

This is completely disgusting. Today, the CDC updated their vaccine safety page. It now says:

“The claim "vaccines do not cause autism" is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism”.

Shoutout to @kellykrause.bsky.social and @nature.com for explicitly not using AI generated images in their covers. they set the industry standard, and are nailing it
