It's hard to know how to think about these blunders. On the one hand, you could say we only have to wait, they'll give us the openings we need. But on the other, they can kill people with stupidity just as well as they can with viciousness.

But then how will seniors find out about this library service? They’re not reading email. Should we approach churches? Schools?

Share this information with your local library. If the local librarian is red, you don’t even have to sound critical of the administration. They’re cutting waste, but in this case seniors may suffer without access to computers. Libraries can make things easier, especially if they’re prepared.

And they’re doing this while they’re closing offices and laying people off. If seniors don’t like or have computers or cell phones, they’ll have to travel farther and wait longer for issue resolution.
