I don't know what aspect of painting miniatures interest you, but if it is the painting itself and not getting the "playable" miniature afterwards. You can find small scale busts. I have a friend who prefers painting those, and requires a similar skillset.

I personally love when the devs add a "this is the intended difficulty of the game" when you select difficulty.
