Punk has always been about punching up not down. And this remains true even when the rich old ‘punks’ start to punch down from the top of their money piles.

And if anyone protests at this madness we shout that they are jealous. Jealous of people so insane that they rub their hands at their bank balance increasing while watching people starve and die of preventable disease.

And we pretend it’s about hard work and talent. As if going to an office each day and giving orders is more important than saving lives in an ER department or harder work than working 3 cleaning jobs while raising a family.

We need to make hoarding money as socially unacceptable as drink driving. Wtf are we doing? We celebrate those who selfishly keep resources out of the reach of their fellow humans while, at the same time we vilify those who need help! This is the opposite of society!
