Recently upgraded my PC. Collected required assets over the past month.

9800X3D, ASRock x870 PG Riptide Wifi, Corsair Vengeance 6400 cl32 (64gb), Kingston KC3000 nvme, Lian Li vertical gpu bracket, linkup pcie 5 cable

Replaced some internals: 9700k z390 from 2019-20 ish

Past week during my downtime I moved onto another recent #bluebrixx set I had in my backlog

It’s obviously inspired by the #siegetank from #starcraft & #heroesofthestorm though not a licensed set.

Both siege & tank mode are quite cool, the mode change between states is somewhat unstable.

Finished this build a couple days ago. Overall the #stargate #sg1 gateroom #bluebrixx was an enjoyable build. I did supplement the set with custom print Minifigs. (Set comes with its own non Lego figures, shaped differently)

I highly recommend this brick built set for any Stargate fan. #mgm

Continued w/ section 5 of this build, this side of the gate room is detachable. Both entrances have retractable blast doors. Which is pretty cool.

The prints for the iris and the event horizon is pretty cool. Also quite liking the gate constellation prints.

bluebrixx set 106842 #sg1 #gateroom

Had some free time today and took the opportunity to clear one of my backlog sets. This officially licensed #stargate #sg1 gateroom set is from bluebrixx. So far the build experience has been pretty good. The gate room door build was cool, liking the little details.

Been playing the Pokemon TCG Pocket game for a few days. Getting the hang of it. Didn’t play the physical TCG back then, seems similar to what I’ve seen. Overall good, ux is a bit clunky, unnecessary menu animations make it feel slow. Also got Mewtwo ex just now, which is pretty awesome.

Another day, another social platform. Hopefully this and threads stays positive.
