Digital media strategy, B2B media, media M&A, events, subscriptions, value creation, getting shit done and sarcasm.

I’ll shoehorn horses in there somewhere.
I’ve only be here a few days and I’ve already nailed posting a reply that absolutely hits the character limit - without editing.

Happy sigh.

That’s both heartening and not a surprise - I’m about as slap bang in the middle of a guardian/bluesky ICP venn diagram as it’s possible to be.
Traffic from Bluesky's @bsky.app to @theguardian.com is already 2x that of Threads

In its first week on the platform & with 300k followers, Bluesky traffic from @theguardian.com posts is already higher than it was from TwX in any week in 2024, where the account had 10.8m followers, but🧵

I get to do irony.

Agree with the post. Can’t share it directly here yet.

I was trying to articulate what people who worked at Incisive have in common. The SFW one is probably that we all make those faces - but the other way around.

Either it’s more than 50% or the LinkedIn algorithm can somehow sense my barely concealed rage and likes to toy with me.

If it is that, fair play.
Exclusive: A new analysis found that more than 50% of LinkedIn blogs are written with AI. For anyone who spends time on LinkedIn...that's probably not shocking. But it's a clear example of how normalized this stuff is in certain parts of the internet: www.wired.com/story/linked...
Yes, That Viral LinkedIn Post You Read Was Probably AI-Generated
A new analysis estimates that over half of longer English-language posts on LinkedIn are AI-generated, indicating the platform’s embrace of AI tools has been a success.

You know you are back in the B2B media game when half your Christmas invites are for media networking shindigs.

Been chatting to a few people recently that tried to escape. We all come back. It’s not a job, it’s a mission.

I’m terrified of this.

I already fucked up selecting my interests. If I accidentally like a cat post will I ever get rid of my feed full of cats.

If I randomly like your posts, I’m just trying to lose the cats. Sorry.

Well my first mistake was impishly selecting “pets” as an interest. @bluesky

I’m not THAT interested. I selected journalism too but that’s got lost in 4m cat photos. Arse.
