Mine does a retreat in India every December and comes back “inspired” with “new ideas”. We all rock up first week of January pointing out we haven’t moved off the sofa whilst she was away. thankfully she’s gentle with us

BIG disclaimer: we- relatively tech savvy Gen X-ers - use a Nest and my parents - reluctant boomer tech users - have Hive. We love Nest’s little things like settings that automatically switch the heating on and off when phones (and therefore you) are in the house. Parents reckon Hive can’t do that.
