Today is 15 years since the tragedy of the 2010 earthquakes in #Haiti. So many lives lost, homes destroyed, families devastated. I will never forget. Wishing for and working for better days for Haiti 🇭🇹

Despite the situation, many public health and clinical care providers continue to serve. On my recent trip to Haiti I was delighted to spend time with lab technicians in public service, working through the night to diagnose disease. 3/3

At the last public report from ministry of health on cholera in #Haiti (a month ago), there had been almost 80,000 reported cases. The current outbreak was in good part prompted when clean water was almost completely cut off to people in dense underserved areas back in Oct2022. 1/3
