7. In college I took two semesters of a class where you learn about history by roleplaying as various historical figures. I later TA'd that class, and you can trace a truly alarming amount of who I am today to these months I spent as various men from history. (Especially Thomas Cromwell.)

6. I used to do competitive archery! My summer camp would bring me around to tournaments nearby. Sadly when I aged out of camp I couldn't find any archery ranges/tournaments in my hometown area, so I stopped.

4. This certainly won’t be news to any of you who know me irl, but I’m a twin! (Older twin, fraternal.) (Also the evil twin.)

3. A side effect of my mom being a former librarian is that she keeps great records. On the 7th of every month, since the day I was literally born, I have taken a photo with a sign saying how many months old I am and sent it to her. (Except on 3 occasions where I forgot and sent it the day after.)

2. It will come as no surprise to many of you to learn I am a lifelong theatre kid. One of my earliest roles was “Dorothy 4” (My elementary school split Dorothy into 13 parts to share the spotlight/ so no 3rd grader needed to memorize more than 2 scenes of lines.) I was, reportedly, an absolute ham.

1. I interned at IGN for a summer. On my last day there, they gave me a cake that just said “intern!” on it. My family found this so funny that now whenever there is an occasion for a cake, they make the message as short as humanly possible. (“happy birthday!” becomes “day” etc.)
