Hepatocellular Carcinoma (or HCC), represents 90% of liver cancers. It is the 6th most common cancer, and represents the 3rd leading cause of cancer related death. It's development has been linked to alcohol consumption, viral infections (HBV/HCV) and other factors such as metabolic diseases.
