I try to avoid politics. But stop blaming Trump. He's the MacGuffin. The real threat is the architects behind 2025 and the people who are implementing it. If you want change, play Go, not Chess. It's about territory and a long game. Don't be distracted by the pawn.

I make sure they have access via Kanopy to watch the entire film and most of them do.
Best of all, they use those quiet moments to truly CRITICALLY think.

When I stop the film & ask them to use the DSM to diagnose a character, they practically kill me.

I teach with film & students all drift away if nothing blows up in the first 5 minutes. I used Strangers on a Train for a psyc lesson. At 1st they were not engaged, but as the story progressed they were all in. Amazingly they found that the quiet moments advanced the plot.
