I don’t disagree, that’s the cost of leaving MLS and failing immediately though, right?

It won’t permanently tank it but seems like his next stop will be a step back for sure. Not back to MLS, but maybe a lower division league.

Not OP but yes, it was an issue in Columbus as well.

I don’t necessarily agree that Nancy doesn’t have the players to do what he wants, no one thought that about Columbus either. Maybe he doesn’t to execute at the highest level but I have a hard time believing the existing Celtic squad is THIS bad.

If you can’t understand why the ends don’t justify the means on this and the consequences of Trump doing this you’re a fucking idiot.

Dejan Jovelic from the Galaxy. Eric Thommy maybe? Khiry Shelton I hope?

No coach yet AFAIK.

Set up some trusts. Use the interest income from investments to do righteous things. Community groceries, social services, etc.

Pick your legislative cause and throw a hundred million at it.

It’s intended to keep salaries down for the vast majority of players. A straight cap increase would allow for existing players to get raises too, and the owners can’t have the peasants getting big heads you know.

It’s so dumb and gross and dumb.

If you’re ok with the richness, a slow cooked beef stew. You might lose some texture with freezing but you keep the deeper richer flavor in my experience.

Lasagna also, can be cooked or uncooked.

Love the single serving pot pie idea from the other person.

No it hasn’t, who wrote this shit headline?
December 19, 2025 at 9:19 PM
If 2/3 of Rodman’s $1.5 million salary is HIP money, that’s $1 million in cap space for other players and overall roster spend that’s $1 million higher than without HIP.

The NWSL is being so dumb here, but also gotta start pointing fingers at owners who don’t want to spend.

Wilson put herself in a great position. She gets the benefit of comfort & less expectation in 2026, can go with Denver if the Thorns struggle, and she gets to see how the Rodman Rule plays out initially / can maybe benefit from it regardless of which NWSL team she is with. Smart all around.

No. Stop with the clickbait.

With famous folks as one off patients? I’d think a lot of famous actors would have fun with that.

This is what happens when the kids - oh no. No no no no.

Yeah the AOL one is kinda garbage, it’s a specific brand vs just time-specific. I’m saying 20/20 for me in spirit lol.

I would love if TSS did a Big Thing type episode on his first (last? Only?) three games at Celtic. What went wrong? How much was him, the players, the roster, the specific three games?

What I’ve seen in parts of all three games is players who suddenly can’t hit a pass. It’s pretty rough.

It’s Grabavoy vs Wilkinson even if it took the former a bit to make the change. Wilkinson’s MO was basically entirely signing international players and getting them green cards. Draft? Nah. Academy? Nah. Intra-MLS? Nah. Gimme those South and Central Americans!

It worked until it didn’t.
December 12, 2025 at 7:47 PM
Agreed and I wonder if some folks will be turned off MLS even if tickets are cheaper just because the World Cup could be such a bad experience it turns them off going to games.

I’m of course referring not only to ticket prices but the politics this time around.

Following Ancelloti is easier than following Nancy, everyone knows that.

I think this is a dig at the Crew fanbase? I’m not sure?
December 10, 2025 at 11:24 PM
If you’re talking about Espinosa he would need to be a DP, yeah? Rodriguez goes, he’s the short term (relatively speaking) replacement?
