I love these glasses. They still occasionally pop up in charity or ‘vintage’ shops and I can’t resist them when I see them.

Couldn’t agree more. One of the reasons I follow you is because your research is great, and you provide your sources. I feel your pain; I was once a professional historian, yet still found myself arguing with people who think the Ladybird book they read in 1976 is ‘the truth’. Keep on keepin’ on.
