The new UI looks soulless. Why does every remaster insist on removing any and all flare from the ui?

I had to hire a guy and he 1 used baited cages to catch them and 2 released them VERY far away. Unfortunately other squirrels WILL now smell your house as their territory and try to move in, so we had seal off the original hole and later put up wire fence EVERYWHERE when more moved in a week later.
