I was gifted this album when our neighbour gave away all his records and have not listened to it yet, so this definitely on my Thursday list ...

(I worry it won't live up to the singles, but it sounds like that's unfounded)

In true mid/late 80s style this is straddling the jangly new wave/ shall we go shiny stadium rock? divide.

I prefer the more stadium tracks to the more quirky ones. Anyway, I now know what this GNR sounds like (they are fine).

It does! I've not got round to seeing Promising Young Woman or Saltburn, but I'm pretty bought into WH for the soundtrack alone :)
