I'm about to post this book as one of my 20 too. It was hard to fathom how they lived and what she went through. An incredible story.

I agree. I read it a few years before that, but when that happened and seeing it unfolding on TV, and then later meeting many of the women who were driven out of Afghanistan at that time, it really brought home what they went through, and often how their families were split as they tried to escape.

You may have! Vinyl is very popular among the youngsters. My teen boys both have a large vinyl collection. They like them because they sound pretty as well as look pretty. And they are into music that was popular before I was even born.
