I mean it was written for a concept album about the nine circles of hell with the songs fitting into the different layers, so perhaps a song associated with the ring of gluttony wasn’t actually glorifying the behavior it describes with the context of the album’s story

back to Gojo and Nanami. Bc they are the two that people thirst after I think I had an Image of Nanami’s personality before going into it and I was sort of right? But also I think he’s less domineering and a little more genuine than I thought he was going to be. Gojo is exactly what I thought though

also Maki and Nobara deserve to be in lesbians with each other!!! episode 8 what so incredibly sapphic!!!!

I think Yuji could have fixed Junpei actually, but then it would have all fallen apart because of a resulting love triangle involving those two and Megumi

Gojo of course is also the star of every room he’s in and he’s a like a little fly in my mind, kind of annoying but also I’m always thinking about him

Current favs are Maki and Nanami. Maki won me over after the twin reveal episode and Nanami has me YELLING with all his old man talk at his young age of 27 he’s SO funny 😂😂😂

I’m through ep 13 and the junpei arc, and being in my mid 20s while watching this I’m definitely the most attached to the adult main characters in the show, more so than the teenagers. I’m sold on Yuji and Megumi as characters, although Nobara still feels a little inconsistently written to me

The first few eps were honestly a little disorienting to watch for me, I’m still getting used to the tropes and narrative beats of the genre but I’m very sat for most of the characters

this was in response to fully catching up on Dandadan and wanting something similar, I haven’t watched a whole lot of anime before so jjk is technically my first shonen (prev ones were more shojo like isekais and whatnot)
