One of my hobbies is optimising "old" tech. I drive a 20 year old car.
My main computers are a M4 Mac mini connected to a keyboard from 2003, a Mac Pro from 2013 (trashcan design) and a MBP from 2015.

Trying to shop in alignment with my political beliefs. We boycott Goya and US brands in general. French brands are good. Tex Mex Sauce made locally is OK. Made in Mexico would work too.

I am reading the news in other languages and "laughing" is not the right word as this is not funny. The news reporting has a reality show character to it. He would be next to ... Candidate X eating something disgusting. It is all about clicks and he is not really that interesting.

This is actually a really nice looking computer. It’s a Mac Pro 2013 model, something to play with this weekend to enhance my studio setup.

I bought a Surface Duo on eBay for 180$ last month and I am surprised how much I like it (as a secondary phone). Dual Screen was a good idea. I don’t need my phone to morph into a tablet. I will hold off flashing Android 14 on it for now. Shane Craig on YouTube shows how to tweak it. @microsoft
