My thought was trying to make it a bit more dynamic without complicating the animation too much. One of the big movements the tags have is the move up and would be simpler to implement than fade in/grow/move up that is currently done.

Back when I used Duolingo, that was my biggest problem with it... Sure, I know the word, but nothing about this tells me how it fits in a sentence. This is a big problem for a language like Japanese where the ordering is so different from English.
