Just moved over from the other place and settling in. No idea which box I packed the spoons in.
Can I ask where (and when) these maps came from? I used to live just about here and although it's a long time gone, Wolverhampton still feels like home.

These folks are going with 'New York Cit-eh' and have apparently been there quite some time. I'm going to defer to this Lazlo fella.

It's unclear if one set of fans over the other was responsible for their derby being cancelled, but to say that WM Police have absolutely no legitimate cause for concern isn't a hill I'd want to die on.

No, no, no. Everything's fine. There's been no premature, self-congratulatory back-slapping going on here. The deal is right on track and a Nobel Peace Prize (next year's, that is) is surely in the bag.

Right?

A friend sent me this earlier today. I guess Labour think they're defusing the threat from Farage, but in reality they're just validating him.

Essentially an ad like this reads, 'When Nigel Farage says that asylum seekers are one of the biggest problems facing the country he's right, and we agree'

Just got back from @thisisdeepseadiver.bsky.social and hot damn, that was amazing! The band are fantastic, top to bottom, but those drums and the energy! Those beautiful guitar tones and little squalls of noise! Absolutely delicious, and my ears ate it up. Everyone - go see them.

Legends?
I'm pretty sure the peak Pochettino team would have demolished the current Spurs line-up (and one of the worst Utd teams in years)

A minor correction, but Anaïs Mitchell cast him as Orpheus in the original Hadestown and the significantly bassier Greg Brown as Hades. Both were fantastic in their roles, as is the record overall!

That's a blow, just after Dave Allen.
I always remember reading about a series of science experiments they put him through, measuring his heart rate as he drummed. It was the sort of level you'd expect to see athletes at.

The original Hadestown album (i.e. 2010 studio version) is also a fantastic listen. Very pleased to have a signed copy of it! Anaïs Mitchell is a great musician but in particular a top, top songwriter

Sir Terry Pratchett.
As someone I respected so much, it would have been utterly devastating to the point that it would haunt me till my dying day.

Genre-wise, it would appear that I've been wildly inconsistent this year. What can I say - I'm a man of changeable whims.
