Doug always looks forward to combining music and technology as he's contributed to the creation of the new rhythm game “Saxophone Hero” alongside Sky Macklay and Jason Charney.

He serves as an Assistant Professor of Saxophone at the Peabody Conservatory where students can earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Game Scoring and also performs with the U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own."

Yusuf has performed as a drummer with bands of various genres while also having been a working classical percussionist. He has previously played with the likes of Split Screen, Crash Course, and Insaneintherain and is excited to be joining Los Veros at MAGfest 2025.

While at U of L, he studied with Peter McHugh, and was concertmaster of the symphony orchestra under the direction of Kim Lloyd. Matt currently serves as Element Leader and Stroll Leader for The U.S. Army Strolling Strings.

A native of State College, Pennsylvania, he studied with James Lyon at Penn State University, and Christophe and Judy Bosua at the Ecole Suzuki School in Lyon, France. Matt earned his bachelor's degree in violin performance from the University of Louisville.

As a Yamaha and D’Addario Performing Artist, and lover of video games and all things VGM-related, Matt is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of saxophone artistry in contemporary and electronic music.

and currently performs as a saxophonist with the U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own.” A laureate of Astral Artists national auditions, Matt also previously served on the faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University.

He has performed with Claudia Medina's Peruvian Latin-Jazz Project, and is a keyboardist for midwest wedding band Bluewater Kings. Jimmy is excited to perform with Los Veros and be a part of what he considers to be a unique sound in the VGM scene.

He is the band leader of the Jazz-Fusion group Abandon Quest - Video Game Band, and develops music software by day, most notably for the Jamstik MIDI Guitar and the custom live show software his band uses on stage.
