Will pretty much follow anyone who talks about Politics, social policy, Radiohead, Everton, economics, FPL or food. In no particular order.
To be fair they’ll spend over half of it on adverts

Sadly if Corbyn had have won in 2019 there’d have been mass disobedience from the Tory/Brexit lot the moment he tried to impose any sort of restrictions so it could well have been even worse.

They have no interest in governing, all they care about is winning the next election. And they’ve convinced themselves that in order to do that they need to avoid pissing off the Daily Mail, which is impossible for anyone left of Franco. So they’ll waste their time in office then lose heavily in 29.

Come one now, we can’t expect the people who might frequent this garden to be subjected to the sight of some houses for poor people, that would be a war crime

How this man is still employed is a genuine mystery of our time
November 5, 2025 at 7:27 PM
Hmm, Sunderland play Arsenal, Liverpool and City in the next 5
November 4, 2025 at 11:25 AM
What would be the point of winning a 2029 election if they’ll then spend the next 5 years shitting their pants about losing in 2034 whenever the Daily Mail disagrees with a proposed policy

Tax rises are both inevitable and necessary - but Labour’s manifesto stupidly made a point of ruling them out. So yeah, it’s going to cost them even more support. If the calculation now is that it’s worth the short term pain to stand a chance of turning things around.. better late than never I guess

Worth pointing out that most adverts feature more than one person. So the whole “x% of ads featured a person of colour whilst only y% of the population is actually a person of colour” measure is stupid anyway - even if you accept her premise that ads ought to accurately represent the population.

He could rename it the Evil Lair if he wanted

The answer is to stop trying to please them, and instead tell them to fuck off and let the grown ups run the country. I’d vote for that every time.

“Does Labour lack political courage?” is a strong contender for least challenging rhetorical question of the year

For the love of cock can nobody ask him how much this means a $100 drug will cost in a years time
October 21, 2025 at 8:54 PM
Yeah a lot of historically safe Labour seats are going Reform at the next opportunity. The fact that Reform are just the worst of the Tories in a different badge is lost on an awful lot of people round here.

Neither of those arguments seems likely to persuade a brexit voter

Seems like someone somewhere has decided that we don’t want to be legally defining China as an enemy
October 16, 2025 at 7:09 AM
Infuriating isn’t it. The entire country knows full well Brexit was and is a disaster but now Labour are pulling it out of the hat and presenting it as a magical excuse for tax rises nobody will accept it.
October 15, 2025 at 7:49 PM
It’s very important that anyone who wants to make this country their home is able to identify and distinguish between multiple adverbial forms
October 14, 2025 at 5:19 PM
Labour and Green have very little in common at this point. Looks like Lib/Green/SNP get all the votes from anyone left of Enoch Powell, Reform get all the psychopaths and Lab/Con fight over the ten or so voters in between

So I write with my left, throw with my right, and pretty much everything else comes more naturally to the right, but the one thing that truly just depends on mood / situation is which hand controls my mouse. I sit at my desk every day and just let my gut decide which hand I’ll be using today.

Are we 100% sure that this isn’t Darren Grimes in a cheap disguise

If only Badenoch had ever been in a position of power, no doubt she’d have fought against the policies of the last 15 years that brought us to this. Oh well we’ll never know who was actually in government for all that time.
October 8, 2025 at 11:50 PM
It’s high time someone stood up and fought back against these evil anti facists!

Sometimes the memory is better than the product coming back though. Remember how shitty the McRib was the other year vs how we all romanticised it.
