We got our flu and Covid shots yesterday and she did both in one arm even though I've done separate arms the last few years. She said it's better to just have pain in one arm, but my experience has been pain in Covid arm and not much in flu arm, so now it just hurts like a bitch on the one arm. 😓

We finished the first part of Stranger Things, but the show soured for me big time over the years between this season and last, for a lot of reasons. I'm still going to watch the rest but the emotional connection is just not there for me anymore.

The snow has begun. The rest of our plans this weekend got cancelled or postponed because of the weather forecast, so we have two full days to just enjoy the snow with hot chocolate and go nowhere.

Sean and I had a great time celebrating with my dad and aunts today. My aunt also shared some videos of my Grandma on her phone that I had never seen. My Grandma had dementia for her last years and these were just everyday videos, having fun with her and making the best of it. It was special. 😭❤️

I'm very much feeling having 3 Thanksgivings to attend over the next 5 days, one that we're hosting, with an impending winter storm and still having to work Friday.
Work has also been annoyingly busy this week, like it's not supposed to be this way before a holiday. Go away and leave us alone.

We've had a box of pasta and a jar of sauce on deck in the pantry for over a month because the same thing happens every time we seriously consider eating it:
"Do you want to make the pasta for dinner?"
"We just had bread and sauce yesterday."
Because we have ALWAYS recently eaten pizza.
