Same here, which leads me down the path of wondering how do we get back to a place where behaviour and personal ethos matters? I want to vote for someone who is nice because they believe it is important and what we owe to one another, not because the rules of the House of Commons require it.

I wonder about this a lot. At some point, we gave up on politicians having individual identity and it’s increasingly difficult to get a sense of their views on any issue. Without that, it’s harder to get a sense of them as a person and that probably enables some not-nice behaviour, to some extent.
