Those list makers are amateurs. You’re right, though - there needs to a level of production quality for the film to achieve some ironic or even masochistic appeal among more general bad movie audiences. I’ve always preferred obscure media because of the unknown factor and low budget charm.

I appreciate that is a general warning you’re issuing but as somewhat of a bad movie connoisseur you can’t hope to scare me away that easily. It can’t get much worse than Hip-Hop Locos and ‘Zen filmmaking’.

The lowest rated films on Letterboxd tend to actually be ok like the DragonballZ one is not the worst film of all time as it became with the rating system revamp.
