I saw the French crown jewels this spring. What a terrible loss.
A necklace and earring set. The necklace is composed of diamonds and emeralds, with 10 large emeralds each supporting a teardrop shaped emerald. The earrings match. According to The Guardian, this necklace is one of the items stolen. A tiara, earrings, and necklace. They are made up of many small diamonds and large sapphires. A tiara made with many large pearls. A very elaborate piece shaped like a bow with tassels (maybe a brooch?). It is made of hundreds of diamonds.

While they ultimately could not be together, she came out of it better than Abelard, who was castrated on the order of Heloise's uncle

Inside, a prone stone figure can be seen. The tomb is behind a wrought iron fence. The head of a female figure, meant to represent Heloise. She is lying prone and is wearing a nun's veil and wimple. Not visible in the picture is the figure of Abelard, who is next to her.
