I am currently thinking of Ender's Game and the role of the Speaker of the Dead. I found this summary of the role online.
Impartiality : The Speaker acts as an unbiased investigator and narrator of a person's life. Thorough Research : They spend time interviewing people who knew the deceased to gather context and details about their life and decisions. Honest Eulogy : The core of the duty is to deliver a comprehensive and truthful speech that includes both the good and bad aspects of the person's life. Community Understanding : The ultimate goal is to help the surviving community understand the deceased's life, context, and choices. No Justification : The speech is not an apology but an honest attempt to understand and represent the person as they truly were.

I have now watched K-Pop Demon Hunters 3 times, and each time, this amazing film has made me cry. I am still not sure what it is that moves me thus, but I recommend everyone watch this silly and fun film to see if it moves you.

I finally remembered what the little boy during the State of the Union reminded of; Thomas Smith from The Man in the High Castle. Both were used as props to hold up a system that had little regard for the true well-being of others. Our orange dick-tator shows this with his cuts to science research.

Rewatching Andor, the quote triggered a feeling of our current time. "The pace of repression outstrips our ability to understand it." The news can feel so overwhelming, but we each have our own rebellion that we are fighting.

Ari Drennen @AriDrennen Trump's lawyers are absolutely flailing in the courts right now Judge Reyes: EO 14183 adopts the definions of a separate executive order called Defending Nomen from Gender Ideology, Extremism and Restoring biological Truth to the federa government. And that EO states, "sex shall refer to an individual's immutable biological classification as either male or female." And it states that, "Itis the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female." Do you see that or do you remember that? Jason C. Lynch:l will take the court's word for it. Judge Reyes: You understand, as a matter of biology, it's just incorrect that there are only two sexes, right? Jason C. Lynch: Do 1 understand that to be incorrect as a biological matter? Judge Reyes: Yes. Ilt is incorrect as a biological matter. You understand that, right? Jason C. Lynch: I don't understand that to be incorrect. Judge Reyes: You understand that not everyone has an xx or an xy chromosome, right? Jason C. Lynch: Honestly, no, I don't Judge Reyes- I's actually kind of 9 really important point because this executive order is premised on an assertion that's not biologically correct. There are anywhere near about 30 different intersex examples. So someone who does not have just xx or xy chromosome is not just male or female. hey're intersex. And there are over 30 potential different intersex examples. We've got genetic differences. We have people with xxx chromosomes. We have androgen insensitivity, xy genetically, that may have female external sex characteristics and internally have testes. There's a five alpha reductase deficiency that causes changes in testosterone metabolism, xy that may have female external genitalia or ambiguous genitalia, the point being, and I'm happy to have you guys brief this more if you want, but I'm telling you right now that there are people who are neither male or.female. And so the premise of the executive order is just incorrect.
