I’m lucky enough if I buy absolutely nothing else I can afford to pay for all his services out of pocket. The kids that can’t just get screwed by the current system.

Right now the DOE is messing with my kids medication. And denying therapy they need. That I could get through insurance but only Mass health so the only way around them is through another insurance company. I agree the services are absolutely necessary. I am just also and done fighting with doe.

This isn’t the solution but the department of ed needs to back the hell out of medical decisions for families of special needs kids. They are destroying children and families. First hand experience.

As a mother of a child living in a residential therapeutic home because their needs are to great for home.
