100%..if I was a political genius or genius of ANY kind I'd have gotten a chunk of that $1.4 Billion in campaign spending & woulda gotten Bud Light can made in MY honor though I couldn't invent a reason to drink a drop of the stuff. Other than that I leave the choice of pronoun to the speaker.

Getting used to assisting a loved one through care and treatment & not getting younger one bit. I empathize with that sense that changes have come. I hope the coming years bring hope and progress unforeseen or solace in endurance.

I stand up for rights for people to do what they will with their lives. I've spent hours arguing. Am I going to knock on someones door & try to explain 62 different gender identities that can't even be frankly discussed with those claiming them? Should an entire party campaign on that?

It was a convergence of the calendar. But by then they were flogging anti-trans mercilessly while DEMS were sleep walking. The optics were a gift to Trump '24.

Unfortunately...being like MAGA means winning every county on the fascist line. Bud Light was a warning... not of the rightness of the cause, but rather the command of the new era of campaigning & organizing. Being ardent is no longer enough!

Tell the truth & stand firm but it's got to make sense & if it's a small niche issue, don't be afraid to CALL it a niche issue. Don't ignore INFLATION while stumbling over saying LGBTQIA+ five times in 2 minutes.

There's no majority without effective coalition. If the DEMS hit a brick wall on messaging, the only thing we can do is lose collectively.

Yes...if only we lived in a country where the population has a means of expressing its choice about who will lead them. Certainly the successful exercise of those means would not allow one aspect of a coalition to blot out the attention focused on its fundamental support base.

One year ago, when Biden celebrated TVD with a big splash at the White House he committed his biggest blunder ore-debate. I support trans rights but the courts were delivering for the movement. But DEMS NEVER figured out how to message this against the right! Luv Tim, but we got destroyed.
