It would have been feasible to do the same with Veilguard - maintain a small team to monitor for bugs, maybe release a DLC, some simple QoL updates, etc. Something to keep fans engaged with the series over time.

Personally, I would have worked to reduce expenditures while still releasing at least one of the planned DLC for Andromeda. So launch was a mess - come back strong and show people there's a story worth caring about. Make a goddamn EFFORT.

Yeah, my enthusiasm is gone. When I thought about the way they rushed and promptly abandoned Andromeda, then bailed on Veilguard, I just can't see an ME game published by EA as something to be excited about.

I believe Veilguard will maintain and even grow a cult following, especially as it becomes more accessible in the future. I no longer have faith that DA or ME can be successful under EA, so I find myself hoping BioWare can thrive elsewhere. A daydream, for now.
