What’s the difference between a gov controlling an algorithm, silently eliminating reach for things it doesn’t like, vs the same gov using its power, to demand that the platform remove the things it doesn’t like.?

In China they are overt. With TikTok in the US, they control silently

The three largest drug middlemen inflated the costs of numerous life-saving medications by billions of dollars over the past few years, the Federal Trade Commission says in a report.
Top three insurers reaped $7.3 billion through their drug middlemen's markups, FTC says
Regulators published their most detailed findings yet on how some of the nation’s largest companies profited from "excess" prescription price hikes of 1,000% or more.

The craziest part is that it WOULD be so easy to be jealous of Elon. But I'm not sure I can point to a person in the public sphere who seems to be more insecure, needy, and pathetic than he is. There is no better posterchild for "money can't buy you happiness" than Elon Musk.

The Matt Gaetz report frenzy is exactly the same as the pee tapes in 2016. We know the guy is a child rapist, and so is the US president. What we need to know, now more than ever, is if anyone at the DOJ or FBI has any backbone to do the needful.

Let me state this is bluntly as I can, as a biographer of both Donald Trump and Elon Musk: Vladimir Putin is now inside the U.S. government, with visibility into absolutely everything. He has that access through Trump, Musk, and David Sacks.

He’s on the patio. He’s on the golf course. Everywhere Donald Trump looks, there is the world’s richest man.

A very disturbing thread. Just how much influence Putin will have in Washington remains to be seen, but it’s not looking good.

One second.
One minute.
One hour.
One day.
One week.
One month.
One year.

It doesn't matter HOW much time passes, it will NEVER seem normal to me that America elected an adjudicated rapist and convicted felon as President.

NEVER.
