You've hijacked two separate reply threads to drone on about your opinions on me—and by opinions, I mean character assassination. That's excessive. Let me reiterate: you don't know me. Not really. So drop it, and let people get back to the actual topic.

This isn't an argument. This is an attack on my character.

—everyone, and having a platform as a content creator tends to increase the number of people you're going to engage with. But that's fine. You're valid to disagree with me, and I'm not asking you to trust me. But my advice? It is generally considered rude to throw around accusations or hearsay.

That's a lot to address all at once. I'll start by saying thar I don't know you, and you don't really know me. You have impressions about me, colored by some poor interactions in the past with some other people. Most of my interactions are usually quite pleasant. It's impossible to get along with—

Fitting, being Halloween. 👻

That's a hefty accusation. I'm sure you have the receipts to back that up, and not just hearsay or your own interpretation. Yeah?

So these characters really *are* named after ancient fossils. They really did it. Calamo is obviously named for Calamophyton, one of the oldest tree-like fossils!

They conserve (see also: "hoard") their wealth like dragons. That's what conservatives do.

Ardipithecus—Ardi for short.

It is appalling that this genocide is not only ongoing but that it's been happening at all. Something must be done to stop this madness. More international pressures, heavy sanctions, arrests—anything!

*Qia (キア) is the Zora princess in Japanese, but queen in the official localization. This could be due to a transcription/translation error.
Jyō (女王) is "queen," while Ōjyo (王女) is "princess" in this context.

It's still definitely done with Mii creator.

The Internet is a useful resource. DeepL, Jisho.org, and Yomichan are all top-quality translation tools.

They aren't yet localized, so we only have the original Japanese kana and the romanized readings.

Āgasuta, Kia, Kurafika, Ardi, Ranaria

アーガスタ is the Goron sage of Fire. キア is the Zora sage of Water. クラフィカ is the Rito sage of Wind. アルディ is the Gerudo sage of Lightning. And ラナリア is the chamberlain who attended to Princess Zelda.

Alone, アーガス is typically read as "Argus," so there's precedent there. The addition of the タ at the end could be read as just a "T" or as "Ta."
October 6, 2025 at 3:49 PM
It's "アーガスタ", so it could be either. Though the long vowel marker (second character, the horizontal line) often indicates an "er" sound in localization. E.g., マスターソード becomes "Master Sword." So my money's on Argust.
