Yes. I remember many championships in Canadian hockey and was a Montreal Expos fan when they almost won a title. But this was really hard to accept. The BlueJays, to a man, played their hearts out, and left everything on the field.

To a certain extent, food security (income insecurity) brings out the judgment gene in some people and groups. I believe that food banks and food programs - we don’t have SNAP where I am - continue to be offered as bandaids but they don’t remedy the issue.

At the moment, I would welcome the whispers. Abbey is on a mission to track the movements of everyone at my mother in law’s home, and to announce their every step, lest we inadvertently let a criminal or hijacker onto the property.

Noticed this “anomaly” on the street where my mother in law lives. Winnipeg. Very reminiscent of my growing years on Montreal south shore. I don’t see this in my neighborhood in Ottawa.

I am able to do my food shopping at Hintonburg Market, Giant Tiger and Island Park Metro. RCSS is too big and bright for me on most days.
