They also won't let the animals suffer when the end is near - my vets have always helped my realize when my animal is telling me he or she is ready to go. Share all the love you can for as long as you can.

Dogs can do well long term with cancer. Vet oncologists treat to give them quality long term lives, not the harsh treatments humans receive. And, they have options for treatment the FDA won't allow humans won't receive.

If my parents weren't 85, and one with a cane and one developing dementia, I send them out driving in Astoria. Close to where I grew up years ago. I'll send them his photo.
