The friends I take home to meet my parents are here. The ones I really hang out with most of the time that my parents would never approve of are on Twitter.

It's nice.

Mine was a phone, but one that could show video and didn't charge fees for long distance calls. I just wanted to see my friend's (who lived in the next state) art project.

And here we are and I never, ever make video calls.

My best friend works in Nat. Security and the most useful thing she's taught me is that when it comes to increased security/police presence, there is always an appropriate amount given the intelligence the authorities have.

Unless something horrible happens, then it turns out there wasn't enough.

It's our fault for looking at them. If we'd all just waited a few hours we could have avoided the confusion, but nooooo I need my constant updates.

My family always did presents, then a movie at the theatre, then Chinese food on Christmas.

I've been looking forward to this piece since the start of the second quarter of that SEC championship.

The workaround is obviously to not need to punt.

Also, the trashcan nature of Twitter pairs well with College Football. I kind of like that I have my smart, professional sports people over here and the ones I'm ashamed of over there.

One of my favorite things ever published: snippets from various sports writers' stories that would have run if Georgia had won the 2018 championship:

This is the story of Georgia’s national title win over Alabama. You read that right.
Here are the stories that didn't make newspapers around the country — when Georgia won the national championship.

A life goal of mine is to one day find out how much tiramisu I can eat before I don't want to eat any more.

It's super easy to make cornbread and then dressing. Don't undercook the cornbread, you want it dry to soak up stuffing stuff.

The best change I ever made was subbing Carrot Souflee for a sweet potato dish.

When sweet potatoes were only eaten on thanksgiving, they were my favorite. Now we as a culture eat sweet potatoes all the gd time.

Carrot Souflee meets the requirement for puffy orange food that is really dessert.

The rule is if a (post) is especially good and interesting, I have to "like" it on all of the platforms.

Oh my gosh so glad you asked!

My daughter is constantly asking questions that everyone already knows the answer to, just to be involved in the conversation.

Today she finally asked a good one.

What is with all these coasters? They don't even have beverages!
