As a baby, my 82 yo mother was always put down for her nap outdoors. Her pram was often gone when my grandmother went out to get her, but she “never worried”because she knew a passerby must have seen the baby fussing and took her for a little walk. 😬

Wodehouse is my absolute all-time favourite! I seem to like the series (Psmith, Blandings, Jeeves) slightly more than the standalones, but haven’t read a bad one yet. Thank goodness he was so prolific. (Also loved Miss Pettigrew and all the Barbara Pyms.)
