It's been a tough fall for all the reasons people who know me IRL understand. I went for a hike into the Mojave desert just north of Las Vegas yesterday. A storm front was moving out. The light & the clouds were dynamic & awe inspiring & a reminder of how quickly life changes. #mojave

Baby Seymour update: my 1st trip to the vet this morning. I was very brave! Down to 2 ringworm spots from 7, so 2 more weeks of baths & lime dips! But, I'm 2.5 pounds & getting healthier every day! #cats #catsosbluesky #kittens #caturday

Happy 15th birthday, Trouble! Arty & Luci are adjusting to the sounds of the kitten, Seymour, in his bathroom. Arty is excited to meet him (next week hopefully). Arty & Seymour continue to amaze Mom with their ability to live fully *with* their special needs, not despite them!

Baby Seymour update: In only 7 days, I've gone from scared feral, shelter kitten to happy, becoming confident kitten! I bravely survived a bath & a lime sulfur dip this morning. My fur is so soft & the ringworm spots are healing. I'm big enough to jump out of the tub now! #cats #caturday #kittens

I can speak to the adaptability of low vision cats! Arty (tabby w/ white) is & his brother Tiger (no white 🌈) was low vision. As you can see their vision doesn't stop them 🐾🐈🐾 #cats #catsofbluesky

Baby Seymour update: Getting braver! I was out of my box when Mom came in my bathroom this morning! I've taken a liking to the TikiCat kitten wet food. (I ignore the dry food). I'm learning to play with more toys & play a little on my own. I'd still rather sit on Mom's lap though 🐈⬛🐾🐈 #cats #kittens

Baby Seymour update: Getting braver! I was out of my box when Mom came in my bathroom this morning! I've taken a liking to the TikiCat kitten wet food. (I ignore the dry food). I'm learning to play with more toys & play a little on my own. I'd still rather sit on Mom's lap though 🐈⬛🐾🐈 #cats #kittens

We finally got baby Seymour out of his hidey hole (now blocked w/ bath towel stuffed in it)! Arty 'talked' him out by meowing outside the door. Hopefully we'll get all clear for intros soon (ringworm). Arty's so excited! Today would've been Tiger's 8th Gotcha Day & it just feels right 🐈🐾🐈⬛🐾 #cats

Hi Onyx, we're hanging in there & thinking about looking for a special needs kitten to join our zoo crew. Unfortunately, we can't welcome a kitten with FIV because Arty (tabby) has calicivirus. But, we're happy to welcome a kitten with pretty much any other special need!

Tiger died last year after sudden kidney failure. It was absolutely awful. He was one of a kind & made up of all the best spare cat parts!
