Absolutely stunning day 8.14.2025 on the Wonderland Trail! We had a window to hike before the atmospheric river 🌧️ arrived and we saw marmots, tons of wildflowers (some of the best looking Dr Seuss flowers too), and WT circuit backpackers. 11 miles 2400’ gain through some beautiful landscapes!

I was on the 7:50am ferry at the Lopez Island terminal this morning 7.5.2025 and saw an amazing pass by 3 transients while watching from the deck before the ferry left the dock. Maybe the same ones that were seen near Thatcher Pass yesterday? @orcabehaviorinstitute.org #wssjis
