I pick out a paint-by-numbers kit for a specific friend, paint it, then mail it to them as a gift. It's not a cheap hobby, but it's cheaper than golf.

Another of my paint-by-numbers masterpieces. I've donated this one to an association of school librarians who'll include it in a silent auction fundraiser next year. I hope they'll make lots of money, but I'll be fairly surprised if they actually get a bid.

In 2022 I started completing paint by numbers kits and sending them to my friends. They seem to appreciate them, and it keeps me off the streets.

Why does almost every picture of a bag of groceries include a naked loaf of bread sticking out the top? Who's out there buying all this unsanitary, naked bread? I've never seen it happen in real life. Artists, please try to do better. Thanks.
