My great uncle Melvin Price, who defended the UK and helped to liberate Europe. I don't know much about his service, only that he worked in the medical department carrying the wounded off the battlefield.

It's interesting how in the last few months Canadas official animal has gone from a beaver to a Canada goose. Beavers are hard working and mind their own dam(n) business. Geese are nasty creatures that you really don't want to mess with.

The results were a bit bittersweet as the CPC vote did increase and the NDP was decimated, still it is a loss for Trump and I will celebrate that fact. Locally the Liberal candidate is ahead, I guess that this will be a recount.

Ukraine has been holding the line against fascism for the last 3 years. While our fight is not as existential or violent, today is Canadas turn to do our part to keep the monsters at bay.

Ukraine has serious cards to play, they could seriously damage ruzzias oil exports by targeting ports and ships. They haven't yet because they didn't want to trigger a price crisis. Ukraine could likely fast track nuclear weapons if they wanted to.
