Nope.
Sad, but true.

This cute frog-holding-a-shovel garden ornament was here when we bought the house. We try not to let the plants grow up too high around him, though. 🤣

Lots of distractions lately ( gestures at well...everything) but I finished book #10 of 2025. Recommended by a library kid, it's a fun, if ultimately forgettable YA adventure. But if you want to know what kids like reading, read what kids like. 5/10 #booksky #reading

Book #8 of 2025. Mysteries aren't really my thing, but I enjoyed the slow unraveling of the story from multiple viewpoints. Good, solid writing. BUT, If you know what I like to read, you'll know from the title alone I was expecting something completely different. 7/10

Book #7 of 2025--A depressing, heartbreaking, but ultimately (sort of) hopeful near future cli-fi tale. It was so sad and felt...inevitable Terrific writing. 8/10 #booksky #booklog

"It never occurred to her to doubt her welcome. Such was the gift of a child raised with love." OMG---tears. I loved this book. #booksky

I'm halfway through this and need to know if the 2nd half gets any better. I've about had it with Quinton's whiny, self-absorbed, selfish, fat-shaming, judgemental, pompous ass.

Signed, and now waiting for the last coat of sealant to dry. I guess she's done. Now she needs a name. I'm thinking "Wreathed in Paper." Suggestions? #artsky #junkmailart #junkmailcollage #collage

Book #3 of 2025 felt like it took forever to get through. I doubt I read any more by this author. Well written, but dull, excluding a chuckle or two. 5/10 #booksky

Junkmail collage WIP. Lots of detail to work out, but it's coming along. Flowers were constructed petal by petal on tissue paper. #artsky #junkmailcollage #collage

Book #2 of 2025.If you've ever wondered what 24 hours on the ISS might be like, this book is for you. Beautifully written, the language is languid, dreamlike and poetic. 8/10 #booksky #scifi

Finished book #1 of 2025 last night. Time travel via bureaucracy is pretty dull, but the book eventually goes wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey just in time (ha) to save the story. 7/10 #booksky #scifi

Finished book #33 of 2024 late, late last night--a re-imagining of "The Fall of the House of Usher." Lots of added characters and the author WAS trying really hard, but...meh. 6/10

When my library's booth theme for the local Con was "House Libraryan" (heh, heh), I made a dragon egg out of a styrofoam egg, lots and lots of silver thumbtacks, sticky bling jewels, sticky bling sheets and glue. Someone gave us a 3-d printed one too.

Easy collage: Print out image on white paper (keep it simple). Trace image in black marker front AND back. Put stickers ALL over image on one side (go over the lines. Overlap. COVER it). Flip and cut out using the lines traced on the other side. Ta-da #simplecollage #libraryprogramming

As a Programming and Outreach Librarian, part of my job is to come up with a theme and decorate our booth for the local Con. This year we were...House Libraryan.
