The pole for Mom's fancy new birdfeeder is in the ground. The pole was wobblier than I'd like so I set it in cement in a large plant pot. I added a little bit more to shape the top after setting it in the hole. Oh shit, I just realized I forgot to set something up to keep the dogs off. Excuse me.

Due to changes in shedding, fur growth & her arthritis/mobility issues the benefits of shaving Kara now significantly out weight the negatives. We've discussed it with our Vet in the past and after today's Vet visit we found a groomer. She looks so different!

Onto Mangu Timur, Evil Warlord.

Or as I like to call him, Mangu the broken given how much of him I had to glue back together after multiple mishaps. I'm a klutz.

Again, I had to improv the paint colors a bit so the silver is much less metallic than it should be.

Tutorial 2 done. Not bad. Not great but not bad. Some things turned out very well indeed and I can see what I need to work on.

I've already taken some of what I've learned to better prep the next model.

These kind of progressive and structured skill modules really works for me.

That is some very green grass. I was planning on toning it down in the next stages but it's growing on me.

It looks like my Orc is invading a HOA run suburban neighborhood, or he lives in one and is yelling at some kids to get off his lawn!

Either way, I really HATE these preattached bases.

I was planning on working on the Orc tonight but decided I just did not have the focus and painted up some of my paint toppers instead.

Wow! I am loving these things! Being able to have a quick visual reference for what color the paint dries to is amazing!
Six dropper style paint bottles of miniature paint. Each bottle has a small 3D printed skull attached to the top of it's lid. Five of the skulls have been painted a solid color with the paint from their corresponding bottle, one has been left unpainted and is a light grey. The painted skulls are green, blue, brown, red and grey. The skull painted grey is noticeably a different shade than the unpainted grey skull.

I found this pattern, I think it's based on "Dancing Mice" by Gerhard Heilmann, and I'd love to know who made it because it's amazing and I am absolutely going to cross stitch it! Doesn't help your tattoo problem but a cool find you might enjoy.
