Hiatus Kaiyote - Love Heart Cheat Code

Probably my favorite neo-soul/jazz album of recent, this album is groovy and really elegant. Also goes hard with some rock at certain points later on.

Also also, BMO from adventure time is featured on this album. Hell yeah.

Mid-Air Thief - Crumbling

This album is very similar to the previous one, but while Imaginal Disk leans more heavily into pop song structure, this album emphasizes the prog elements more and is more folktronica than synth pop (music jargon is fucking stupid). Crumbling is magical and otherworldly.

Magdalena Bay - Imaginal Disk

You might have heard of this album being praised heavily in 2024, and for good reason. Despite the fact that a Porter Robinson album came out, this still ended up being my favorite album of 2024.

My second favorite album of all time; please listen to Imaginal Disk.

black midi - Hellfire

This album was my introduction into post-rock and avante garde music and holy fuck this album is wild and batshit insane. I didn't fully get it at first but it grew on me heavily, Sugar/Tzu is one of the greatest rock songs I have ever heard in my entire life.

Glass Beach - The First Glass Beach Album

Pretty much everyone who follows me here is a queer furry, if you don't already know why this album is amazing then you need to put down the Car Seat Headrest and listen to it already.

Justice - Cross

In terms of classic electronic music (is 2007 too recent to be considered classic? Idfk) this is by far my favorite. So many insanely well produced bangers on here.

Thank you Undertale Fandom for making Waters of Megalovania and thus introducing me to this album 💀

Bon Iver - 22, A Million

I actually discovered this album because Porter Robinson talked about it once in an interview.

Adjacent in vibes to Nurture, this album features mainly folk music but embellished with glitch-pop/electronica production styles. Creeks is a beautiful song.

Porter Robinson - Nurture

If you've interacted with me before you know this is my favorite album ever, very obvious one. Amazing electronic pop album with a super feel good vibe, Nurture makes me feel happy and warm.
