Just got all the special editions of the Amanita games from GOG as I wanted all the contents DRM-free, the laugh I got from this art book page alone was worth the money that it's going to a good cause anyway

Like the army of a civilized nation, the threat of violence, more so than real violence, is the gang's typical function. The militaries of Belgium, Sweden, Thailand, Argentina, and so on rarely engage in actual combat or drop their stores of napalm on helpless populations. Only barbaric countries (e.g., the United States of America, Israel) regularly employ their armies as instruments of death. Even actual warfare is now more akin to crowd control, enforcing property ownership, and repression of civilian popu-lations. Hence the modern term "police action" in lieu of "war." The average gang behaved similarly.
