I know Harris is extremely flawed. I know Democrats are complicit in an ongoing genocide. I know voting for her sucks ass and believe me I don’t like it at all.
Trump is an existential threat to this country. He is a fascist. The threat he poses is far too large.

“YAK: A Collection Of Truck Songs” (2021) by Angel Du$t
This album completely took me by surprise. One of the better indie rock albums I’ve heard in a long time. “YAK” is a refreshingly energetic album in a genre that is a bit overplayed nowadays.

“The Cat Lady Album (Music from the Video Game)” (2013) by various artists
The soundtrack to one of my favorite game of all time is a bit messy. While there are several good songs on here, the album is bogged down a bit by the cheaply produced indie emo music.

“Pray For Haiti” (2021) by Mach-Hommy
Full of dreamy, hazy beats and some genuinely great rapping, “Pray For Haiti” is a solid as hell rap album. I would HIGHLY recommend this to just about anyone.

“Pure Heroine” (2013) by Lorde
Lorde’s debut album is one of the best debut records for a 2010’s pop artist in my humble opinion. While I’m not quite as in love with this album as I was when I was fifteen, Lorde’s melancholic tunes still stand up a decade later.

“Elephant” (2003) By The White Stripes
This is probably the most influental garage rock album of all time, and for good reason. The songwriting on this album is top-notch. While the arrangements may be a bit sparse, they all serve the songs perfectly for what they are.

“Charm” (2024) By Clairo
Clairo’s new album is absolutely fantastic. Full of beautiful vocals, well written lyrics, groovy instrumentals, and some FANTASTIC 70’s-sounding production, this is one of the most pleasant listens I’ve had in a long time. Clairo did not disappoint.

“Fail Better, Heal Faster” (2017) By Fail Better, Heal Faster
This is a complicated, messy album. Musically brilliant, and while I do think lyrically brilliant at moments, problematic at others. An absolutely fantastic emo album that should be viewed with a keen critical eye.

“Honey Bones” (2016) By Dope Lemon
I was BIG into this album my senior year of high school, and while my love of this album has cooled a bit, I still enjoy it quite a bit. Solid indie rock album with some FANTASTIC production and mixing on the guitars in particular.

“Brutalism” (2017) By IDLES
Solid punk album. I don’t really have a lot to say about this album to be honest. Not very remarkable of an album, but not a bad one by any means

“Buy Now” (2015) By Eyeliner
This is the kind of MIDI music you’d find in some obscure 90’s PC game and IT GOES HARD. I love art like this that tries to make something new and genuinely pleasant to listen to with these goofy sounding outdated soundfonts

“Kidz Bop” (2001) By Kidz Bop Kids
The fact that the first Kidz Bop album barely has any kids singing on it is insane. This is just some mediocre adults singing to MIDI karaoke versions of popular songs with a couple kids doing backing vocals. What is this???

“The Letter O” (2016) By Dame D.O.L.L.A.
The irony of Damian Lillard opening his debut album with a song named after the ONE player to bring an NBA championship to Portland, and then subsequently proceeding to win ZERO rings for the Blazers is not lost on me. Mid album too.

“D-D-Don’t Don’t Stop the Beat” (2002) By Junior Senior
While “Move Your Feet” is a certified banger, the rest of this album is much more inconsistent. Some songs have a few good ideas executed poorly, others have just not aged well. A mixed bag of mostly decent music.

“MM…FOOD” (2004) By MF DOOM
MF DOOM is my favorite rapper of all time and “MM…FOOD” is his best album. Need I say more? I have yet to hear anyone even come close to the absolute LYRICAL GENIUS that DOOM exhibits on this album. He’s the GOAT. End of discussion.

“A Crow Looked at Me” (2017) By Mount Eerie
While I quite disliked “The Glow Pt. 2”, I find this album MUCH better. Elverum’s messy, plodding songs don’t bother me as much because of the fact that this is less of an album than an incredibly dark, compelling piece of vent art.
