I write a lot with my wife with our OCs and we get into stints where we want to write specifically to see where it goes. It's like watching an amazing show that you keep wanting to see the next episode of.

Absolutely. Music in video games gives such amazing vibes. Sonic's a given with how good the music always is in those games, but stand outs for me are "In the Final" in Bowser's Inside Story and the Battle! (AI Professor) theme in Scarlet and Violet.

I generally agree, but the one thing I can't stand is tank controls. This stopped me from playing the original Silent Hills and Resident Evils back in the day, so the remakes let me engage with games I'd otherwise never enjoy.
It's not that it's bad, I'm just incompatible with it.

Listen, if a godlike creature comes out and it take 28 bullets to take it down, you are damn right I am glad I always tactically reload. Just thank the stars most games don't follow actual logic and just make you switch used clips.

If I could add a personal touch to this, something really fun to do is give soft implications of events the character has been involved in off-screen. Then I later introduce it as a 'bonus chapter' where it can be explored deeply.
