I do know a bit of how though it's because a lot of male Profs especially had wives to do their 'extra' work. It doesn't make it less frustrating.

Idk how anyone manages to finish PhDs within funding windows because other stuff takes up so much time and energy. I'm not even teaching or anything, I'm just working on the dissertation, but I also have to function outside of that and do chores, errands, sleep, etc and that's all time consuming.

I wish I could have given you my deep desire and energy to draw while I was away because I haven't been able to do anything in like 3 weeks and I'm struggling with it lol I want to draw and have ideas I just haven't had time.
