The slap in the face and backhanded comments by Enchanted Realms really ensured I felt unwelcome. What really gets me is the shop still has not handed out the promos to the winners of the set champs. 1/2

I wish I knew. Maybe it’ll be made right. But I am not holding my breath. I hear the shop has a rep. For being shady with things like this. Just sucks because I used to sit looking for players in his shop. I even gave one his customers a set 1 starter deck… trying to help spread good about the shop

That because the replies are text… so nothing should come across. I can’t convey emption in 250 characters. So, maybe take a step back an examine why you got emotional over some words on a screen?

There was an official announcement in the article you posted. They are pausing the world champs and future dlc’s.

My guy the point is… the Melbourne dlc is kind of a spark that lit off a fuse. There are major issues with the handling of the game both in dlc and shops. I also just taught a classmate how to play. Have him a sealed starter deck… he’s the 5th person I’ve done this for. Calm down

I am always skeptical when singles start to keep over 20 dollars. I always have to touch the cards. Which makes buying online super tough for me. Luckily I have didn’t have to learn the lesson, but I have seen friends learn it.

Stepping away from comp. And stopping playing lorcana are different things. Sounds like you got a nice set up. However for a large majority of people who are playing don’t. My opinions are not solely based on Melbourne either… you’re speaking a lot words for me here.

1.) not remotely the point. Players shouldn’t have to forgo dlc bc of bad organization. And lack of standards 2.)Leagues and local stores are even worse. Again lacking standards+One of the local stores had a 70 dollar entry fee for set champs, unless you’re a member of their group, then it was 35.

I stepped away from competition for several reasons. Mainly the lack of judging standards, but the cost of set 1 staples is also a factor. But the Melbourne event is more to the exception and not the rule. And with conti’s coming I am still keeping an ear out and checking the meta

The games not even 2 years old, but the Oceania inaugural champs was a mess! It’s a pretty solid demonstration of how little the tourney scene actually means to the company. There are many many problems with DLC

I thought the same thing… talked with a local shop and they started one. it’s going to have its inaugural day this weekend! Hopefully #ravensburger will see this and want to provide prize support for the younger ones. Incentivizing more shops.
