All I can think about is a little dog that could’ve been ours, but the stray cat more or less lives here now, and hates dogs. We can’t abandon the cat, we feed it, no one else does. But I miss the love of a dog. We’ve been dog-less for 15 months now.

Ignore the length of the grass, but we had a beautiful visitor today, basking in the sun. Really made my day.

I always add lentils to everything stewy (inc gravy) to make sure my husband has pulses. He has the food habits of a teen. Bless him
