I'm sorry to drop all of this on you out of nowhere. I'm still gonna be here, but I'm sure I'll be in a weird place and feeling for some time after this. I'll also be busy IRL off and on dealing with the fallout and such of this, being I and her lived here alone, and we took care of each other. 💔

I'm still planning to try to visit her a couple more times before she passes, but I don't have standard transportation, so I'm not sure how well that'll work out. But the point is, my own life is going through a fairly big change, even as we speak, despite her not being gone just yet.

I just got back from seeing her for the first [and possibly last] time since the visit. I signed the forms for her to go into hospice care, which means now they're going to give her comfort until she hit the true end of her life.

It's a progressive disease with no real curative treatment, and its progression has advanced enough that she can barely be without a specialized BI-PAP mask for both her nose and her mouth. When she's off of it, she can barely stay conscious and alert longer than 30 minutes at this point.
